This Privacy Policy explains how Funny Dogs Typing ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use funnydogstyping.com (the "Site").
Who we are
Funny Dogs Typing is an educational typing practice website operated by Funny Dogs LLC, 6545 Market Ave. North STE 100, Canton, OH 44721, USA. Contact: funnydogstyping@gmail.com. See also our Contact page.
Information we collect
- Account data: email address and a hashed password when you sign up.
- Practice data: for members, typing session metrics such as category, WPM, accuracy, duration, course progress, and (for Premium) per-word and per-character performance used to improve practice and stats features.
- Technical data: standard server/browser information such as IP address, user agent, and cookies needed to keep you logged in.
- Communications: if you email us, we receive the content of that message and your email address.
How we use information
- To provide practice features, stats graphs, course progress, and account management
- To secure accounts and prevent abuse
- To improve the product and learning content
- To respond to support and privacy requests
- To display advertising (when Google AdSense or similar is enabled)
Legal bases (where applicable)
If you are in a region that requires a legal basis for processing (such as the EEA/UK), we rely on: (a) performance of a contract (providing your account and practice features), (b) legitimate interests (security, product improvement, non-personalized site operation), and/or (c) consent where required for non-essential cookies or personalized advertising.
Cookies
We use an HTTP-only session cookie to keep members logged in. See our Cookie Policy for details. When advertising is enabled, third parties may set additional cookies as described below.
Advertising and Google AdSense

Premium members are intended to see an ad-free experience once AdSense is live; guests and free members may see ads.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers who host the Site, store the database, or process email, solely to operate Funny Dogs Typing. We may also share information if required by law, or to protect the security and integrity of the Site.
Advertising partners (such as Google) may receive technical and cookie data as described in the advertising section when ads are enabled — not your account password, and not your full practice history for their own product features.
Data retention
Guest practice is not stored as a personal history. Free members keep up to 1,000 practice sessions. Premium members keep history until they request deletion. You may request account deletion by emailing funnydogstyping@gmail.com from your account address.
Your choices and rights

- Export practice sessions (Premium CSV) or request an export by email
- Request deletion of your account and associated practice data
- Opt out of personalized ads via the Google / aboutads.info links above
Residents of certain regions (including California and the EEA/UK) may have additional rights under local law. Email us to exercise a privacy request; we will respond within a reasonable period.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical measures such as hashed passwords and HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
